The Aquitaine region is renowned not just for its world-class wines but is also home to some of the most amazing fresh local produce one can find. Freshly hunted truffles from the Perigord, organic Bayonne ham cured in the Basque region and foie gras from nearby Mugron are complemented by regionally found asparagus, fresh oysters and honey. Our sumptuous and lavish hot breakfast using the best local produce, some of it grown in our own organic herb and vegetable garden, is sure to energize you for the day. Delicious picnic hampers can be arranged, when you explore the region on a day trip.

With such great regional produce, it is no surprise that some of France’s finest restaurants are within a short proximity to Chateau Robert. As we do not regularly serve dinner at the Chateau outside the summer period, we will be delighted to help you secure reservations for dinner at any of the fine restaurants nearby.
